Mt. Hakusan
One of the three holiest mountains in Japan (the other two being Mt. Fuji and Takayama), Mt. Hakusan offers a beautiful view of the Northern Japan Alps. It has been designated as a national park, and it contains a rich variety of trees and flowers. Because it is difficult to access using public transportation, it offers a relatively quiet experience for nature lovers who are willing to do a bit of hiking.
Mount Hakusan is located in the chubu region of central Japan.
