Who is Japan Roads?
Japan Roads is a travel company based in Michigan, USA. Jeff and Yoshimi Aasgaard the owners of Rediscover Travel Inc. (dba Japan Roads) started their first travel business in Japan in October 2000 with Japanese Guest Houses (Rediscover Japan Co., Ltd.), a licensed reservation service (Hyogo Prefecture Travel Agent License Number 3-609) for foreign travelers wishing to stay at a ryokan (Japanese inn). With the growth and expansion of this reservation business, Japan Roads was formed to take this cultural experience to the next level by organizing slow-paced and in-depth tours of Japan. Like their first travel business, Japan Roads offers visitors the opportunity to meet the Japanese people and experience the Japanese culture up close.

The owners of Japan Roads have lived in Japan for many years and realize the importance of learning about culture and meeting people when visiting a foreign country. These intimate, day-to-day encounters will make for lasting memories.
