Jeff Aasgaard was born in a south suburb of Chicago named South Holland and lived in Japan for 14 years. He now lives in Commerce Township, Michigan with his wife Yoshimi, son Shota, and daughter Mina. His hobbies include playing with his kids and Aikido.

Mizue Inami - Tour Arrangement |
Mizue Inami was born and raised in Takarazuka, Hyogo Prefecture. Her main passions in life (besides her work) is traveling (she has traveled extensively throughout Japan and Europe) and languages (currently studying Italian and Korean). Inami-chan also plays volleyball and is a big soccer and baseball fan. Her favorite team is the New York Yankees and her hero Hideki Matsui. She is also a licensed travel agent. |

Tomoko Nozoe loves to travel and is particularly attracted to Europe. She has spent many years studying Japanese tea ceremony and now she is a Japanese tea ceremony instructor in the Urasenke school. She is a big movie fan and loves musicals as well. |
Patrick Mackey - Writer, Webmaster |
Patrick Mackey is in charge of the Japanese Guest Houses and Japan Roads web sites, writing the Rediscover Japan newsletter, and planning and leading tours. He also works in Japanese Guest Houses' guest relations section. An American from the small town of Corvallis, Oregon, he graduated from University of Oregon with a triple major in Japanese, History and Asian Studies, and now lives in the heart of Osaka City. Patrick's interests include traveling, Japanese history and culture, reading and music. |
